Joining Rolling Thunder®, Inc.
Membership in Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is open to anyone who has an interest in educating the public regarding the POW/MIA (Prisoner of War-Missing in Action) issue regardless of race, color, creed, or sex. All persons must be 18 years of age or older. (You can become a "Junior Member" if you are less than 18 years of age.)
Before you decide to join Rolling Thunder®, Inc. Chapter NM-1, you must first come to a meeting. You are always welcome to ride with us during events, but before you join, you should see the business side as well.
Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is a national organization of dedicated people that advocate and educate the public about POW/MIA issues.
Applications for membership are available upon request only after we close our monthly membership meetings. The completed applications will only be accepted back after the meetings.
No applications will be given out or received back at any other time. All applications must be picked up in person by the person requesting membership. We do not mail out membership applications.
Along with the application, you will be given a copy of Rolling Thunder®, Inc’s Constitution. We request that you read it before filling out the application for membership. Every member must abide by the constitution and by-laws of Rolling Thunder®, Inc.
If, after reading the constitution, you decide not to join, please return the constitution and application to one of our members.
Upon completion of the application, and payment of dues, you will be assigned a sponsor from the general membership of the Chapter. This sponsor is there to answer any questions, inform you of events and meetings, and help you through a 120 day trial period.
Rolling Thunder®, Inc. is Not a Motorcycle Club
All members of the Rolling Thunder®, Inc. organization must be willing to help fight the prisoner of war and missing in action issue, which still exists. To help protect future veterans from becoming POW-MIA's and to help veterans in need from all wars.
We thank you for considering membership and we would like to have you join us, but if you cannot donate your time to our issues, we cannot accept you as a member. However, you are still welcome to attend meetings and events as a non-member.
